St. Anne Line Society

Category: Prayer Ministry
Description: Who can forget the humble request of Pope Francis on the night of his election for all the Faithful to pray over him? It was beautiful. We cannot just limit our prayers for our Pope, Bishops, Priests and Religious, Deacons, Seminarians and those discerning a call to a Vocation on certain days. As Catholics we need to be vigilant in our prayers for those serving Christ's Church as they come under increasing attacks from outside the Church.

We all need prayers, and our clergy and religious are no different. So if you would like to join us we would love to have you. The St. Anne Line Society invites parishioners of all ages join us in spending 15-30 minutes in prayer dedicated to our priests and consecrated religious on the 3rd Sunday of the month after the 11:30 a.m. Mass in St. Mary’s Chapel. Prayer sheets are made available and all are welcomed.

The Society is named in honor of St. Anne Line, a widow who was martyred in 1601 for hiding priests in a London safe house, and we ask her intercession in our prayers.
