Valentine's Day Falls on Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday, February 14, is a day of fasting and abstinence. Fasting means one regular meal and two smaller meals which, taken together, would not amount to one full meal. Abstinence means no meat. So, please plan accordingly. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent, so it’s considered a serious obligation. In addition, abstinence is the rule for all Fridays of Lent. Consider attending our Friday Fish Fry dinners hosted by the Knights of Columbus.
