All women of the parish are invited to hear parishioner Paula Umaña speak to the Women’s Club about Hope on Monday, March 9th, in McDonough Hall, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The cost for dinner is $10. Please RSVP on the parish website.

Paula is a mother of five kids and tennis player/coach who was diagnosed with and autoimmune disease called CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Dimyelinating Polyneuropathy) in 2014, which lead to a full body paralyzation, taking away her ability to walk, move her limbs, or use her hands and feet. Thanks to prayers, medical treatment and therapy, after almost two years, Paula has had a slow but steady recovery and can now walk. Through her illness and difficulty, Paula learned to face adversity, adapt, and move forward with faith and hope. That is why she now shares her story that motivates people to find hope, to survive suffering, and to win the race of life.
