DetailsAll families are invited to our 4rd Annual All Hallow's Eve Night of Lights, Night of Saints event on Monday, October 31st, following the 6:00 p.m. Mass. Dinner will take place in McDonough Hall after Mass. Then, enjoy a guided tour of Holy Spirit's "catacombs" with your family to learn about the Saints. Treats will be provided. RSVP for dinner, and if you will participate in our All Hallow's Eve festivities, please make sure to indicate that when you RSVP. There is no charge for dinner, but donations to offset the costs of dinner will be gratefully accepted
Halloween is a Catholic celebration and literally means “All Holy’s Eve” or “Hallow’s Eve”. It is the vigil of All Saints (All Hallows) Day, a Holy Day of Obligation and the celebration of all of the Saints - the holy men and women recognized in the Catholic Church as residing in Heaven.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteers are needed to host Saint tables! All Holy Spirit families and ministries are invited to host a table. Hosts decorate tables and dress-up in costume based on the saint they select. We would also appreciate some volunteers to help with set up/clean up. If you are able to assist, please reach out to Sarah Cullen.
