Our sincere thanks to Serena Young and her team of volunteers for all their hard work in preparing the fundraiser to benefit Fr. Atraga's hometown in Ethiopia. Several hundred parishioners came together last night to enjoy a delicious catered meal, learn about Ethiopian culture (including a coffee ceremony!), and to raise money to help the people in Fr. Atraga's village.

Donations collected will directly benefit the village of Gubre, Ethiopia, Fr. Atraga’s hometown. The collected funds will be disbursed for (1) food during this starvation period (2) purchasing PPE's to prevent and minimize the transmission of COVID and providing treatment for those that have contacted COVID (3) provide a temporary shelter with food and water for those migrating to Gubre for relief and refuge.
