Description: Catechists are needed to teach during the school year for children ages 3 years through 6th grade. Classes meet on Sundays from September through May. We offer two different RE class times: 9:45 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Tuition is waived for those who volunteer to be Catechists/Co-Catechists. No prior Religious Education teaching experience is necessary, just the love of our faith and desire to share it with the children in our parish.
Please note that for the safety and protection of the vulnerable populations that may be served by this ministry, all volunteers participating in this ministry must be in compliance with the requirements of the Archdiocese of Atlanta's Safe Environment Program.
