Youth Ministers

Sara is originally from Portland Maine. Her favorite things include fall colors, chocolate and peanut butter, the sun, and discussing how much water everyone has had to drink in a day. She came to Georgia to live her dream of being a southern bell and becoming Atlanta United’s #1 fan. She joined Holy Spirit after serving as a Life teen missionary and says it’s been one of the greatest blessings in her life. Along the way of the beautiful adventure that is living with Christ, she is a big fan of following the models of St. John Paul II, St. Joseph, and St. Jude. Outside of work you can probably find Sara eating a taco, closing another ring on her Apple Watch, or working on her memoir titled, “A Series of Awkward Events: The Life of Sara Gillingham.”

Kaitlyn Callahan is originally from Massachusetts and is a 2018 graduate of Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio where she studied Theology, Catechetics and Youth Ministry. Upon graduation she went on to serve as a Full Time Life Teen Missionary in Dahlonega, GA. Most recently she worked as a Pilgrimage and Visitor Services Specialist at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, DC. She loves writing poetry, morning coffee conversations, basking in the beautiful great outdoors, and you can find her somewhere between Chipotle and your nearest adoration chapel.

Julie has Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Nursing and has worked in the medical field for many years. Born in Atlanta, she returned to live here in 1995, and has been a member of Holy Spirit parish for 18 years. Julie is devoted to her husband and two children and has been an active volunteer in Catholic schools and at the parish.
