To support parents, Holy Spirit parish offers Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation Classes, including:
PRESCHOOL - KINDERGARTEN
Where: HSP Preschool (in the classrooms beneath the Church)
Our children who are 3 years old up to Kindergarten will enjoy interactive crafts, lessons and activities celebrating Jesus and His Church.
1st GRADE – 2nd GRADE
Where: HSP Liberal Arts Building
Our 1st and 2nd graders will be preparing for their First Reconciliation and First Communion, which they will receive in the spring of their 2nd Grade year. The Archdiocesan guidelines require two years of formal formation in either Catholic school or a parish program.

3rd GRADE – 6th GRADE
Where: HSP Liberal Arts Building
Our older children attend interactive lessons and activities to expand their understanding of the Church and Catholic faith. Lessons include topics like the Liturgy, the institution of the Seven Sacraments, the Mysteries of the Rosary, and the Seasons of the Liturgical Year.
RCIC
Where: Room 15 Classroom (located beneath McDonough Hall)
For those children, 3rd - 9th Grade, who have NOT received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation or First Communion, we offer our Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC). This program takes place once a month on Wednesday nights, and prepares children to receive the Sacraments.
