Join the Women's Club on Monday, January 13, for parishioner Nancy Ewings's presentation on "The Annunciation in Art".  Nancy will present at 11:30 AM and at 6:30 PM in McDonough Hall. The cost is $20 and includes lunch/dinner. The momentous encounter between the Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin Mary is related in Luke 1:26-38. Mary's "Fiat" made possible the Incarnation of Christ and His mission of our salvation, and is model for our own relationship with God. Nancy will explore the way that artists throughout history have depicted the Annunciation event, and discover art that will move your heart and enrich your spiritual life.

More about Nancy Ewing:  
After receiving an Art History degree from the University of Virginia, Nancy detoured through the practice of law and full-time motherhood before diving back into her lifelong passion for sacred art. For nearly 20 years she has been painting icons and illuminated miniatures, and has presented art talks to parishes and groups in Atlanta.
