Religious Education Job Openings at Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit’s Religious Education Department has two (2) part time positions that will work directly with the Religious Education staff to provide high-quality catechesis to our parish community. For more information or to apply for either of the positions, please contact Deacon Mark Mitchell.

 

Adult Education Coordinator
An Adult Education Coordinator is needed to assist in the ongoing catechetical formation for the adult members of Holy Spirit parish. This position has responsibility for facilitating regularly scheduled Adult Faith Formation Programs (on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings). Utilizing Word on Fire “Engage” resources as a foundation, the Adult Education Program will focus on offering a variety of topics, including mini-series programs, as well as guest speakers on topics of interest. Other responsibilities include offering a parallel course for parents of youth who are preparing to receive Sacraments, as well as offering a Parish Mission at least once per year to help deepen the faith of our adults during Lent and/or Advent.

 

Children's Faith Formation Coordinator
A Children's Faith Formation Coordinator is needed to assist in the faith formation of children aged 3 years to 4th grade, as well as 2nd grade Sacramental Preparation. This position is responsible for coordinating the religious education classes on Sunday mornings, assisting in the selection of program materials and resources to implement curricula, developing and implementing programs for sacramental preparation (First Penance and Eucharist), and planning and coordinating the Sacramental Liturgies and events.
