Dear Parishioners:
A number of people have asked if I would lead another pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Since it would be in the Fall, and being retired as pastor by then, it becomes a possibility – so long as there are enough people interested to make it viable.
Typically, with about 20 people, such a pilgrimage would cost about $4,300 per person, double occupancy. It might be slightly higher if we are able to get on the Delta non-stop flight to Israel. And there would be about $190 additional in tips. Everything else is included, except lunches. The trip would involve 12 days, including travel days, somewhere in the period from November 2 to November 22.
I’m trying to get a feel for the degree of interest there might be in having such a trip. This does not involve a firm commitment but an indicator. If you think you might be interested in participating in such a pilgrimage, please send me an email prior to April 15. If enough people indicate an interest, I will get the agency to bring working on details.
