When we invited our parish to support Marillac Moms, you showed up in the most beautiful way—and we can’t thank you enough. 

In just 48 hours, our Amazon Wish List was completely fulfilled, even though the request went out on a Friday during an inclement weather weekend. Welcome Bundles for the home were claimed by many of our ministries withing minutes.  The speed, generosity, and care behind your response reminded us just how special this parish community is.

Many of you reached out asking, “How else can we help?”—and we also heard from those who were disappointed when opportunities filled so quickly. Please know this:  this is only the beginning of our parish’s 15-month journey walking alongside our Marillac Mom and her family.

We will be meeting our Mom and her family in the next week or so, and we’re looking forward to sharing updates as we begin to know them more personally and understand how best to support them.

Because so many of you want to stay connected, we’ve created the Marillac Moms Support Circle, and the link is now live. This is for anyone who would like to be among the first to hear updates on our Mom’s journey and learn where help is needed as opportunities arise—whether that’s replenishing household or baby supplies, celebrating milestone moments, or offering specific skills when the time is right.

We’ll also continue sharing updates with the wider parish through the bulletin. You can join the Support Circle using the link above or by using the Sign Up on the Marillac Moms page in the Ministry section of our website.

We invite our whole parish to please keep our Marillac Mom and her family in your prayers. If you’d like to share those prayers in a special way, we invite you to join our Spiritual Bouquet, offering prayer as a gift to Mom and her family. When we meet her in the coming weeks, we’ll present this bouquet as a sign that Holy Spirit Catholic Church is already surrounding her with love, prayer, and care.
