We are delighted to welcome Fr. Sean Lee, who joined Holy Spirit Catholic Church as our new parochial vicar on July 1. Ordained to the priesthood on May 30, Fr. Sean comes to us with a deep love for Christ and a desire to help others grow in faith through the sacraments.
A native of Lilburn, Fr. Sean was raised in the Catholic faith and was active in parish life at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. While attending a Steubenville Youth Conference as a teenager, he experienced a quiet invitation from the Lord to consider the priesthood. That call remained with him throughout high school, and after graduating from Parkview High School, he entered the seminary at age 18.
Fr. Sean has shared that what he looks forward to most as a priest is bringing Jesus Christ, truly present in the Eucharist, to the People of God and helping people encounter the Father's infinite mercy through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In his free time, he enjoys reading, baking, hiking, swimming, and spending time outdoors.
Please join us in praying for Fr. Sean as he begins his ministry at Holy Spirit. We invite you to introduce yourself and offer him a warm welcome after Mass in the coming weeks. We are grateful that the Lord has brought him to our parish family, and we look forward to Living the Gospel as the Body of Christ together.
