Women's Club April Meeting: Spring Gardening Tips

Spring is here and it’s time to get into the garden! Come learn how to incorporate Georgia’s native plants into your yard to create beautiful spaces that are low-maintenance, often deer resistant, and improve the community habitat. Baker Owen from the Georgia Native Plant Society will share information about the reasons to choose native plants and provide tips for easy ways to locate shrubs and flowers that can add immediate interest in your yard. Share a meal and listen to Baker’s tips for spring garden planning with our beautiful native plants. This session will be offered on Monday, April 8th, at 11:30 a.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. in McDonough Hall. The cost is $15 and includes lunch or dinner. For questions, please contact Susan Selman or Tara Headd.
