Date/Time: Monday, April 6, 2026, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: McDonough - Hall A/B/C/Kitchen Combo
Details:
All men of the parish are invited to the next Men’s Club gathering on Monday, April 6, at 6:30 PM in McDonough Hall (note bulletin incorrectly states the location as Malta Hall). Our guest speaker, Duncan Gibbs, will present: “What the Young Get Wrong and the Old Wish They Knew About Retirement.” The cost is $15 and includes dinner. RSVP on the parish website if you can attend.

A parishioner at Christ the King, Duncan is real estate professional with more than 35 years of experience and founder of Tristar Real Estate Investments. He is the creator and host of The Retirement Spy, a platform focused on the often-overlooked non-financial aspects of retirement. Duncan will explore how the pursuit of purpose, meaning, and identity in retirement transcends generational differences. He will offer practical insights on navigating the transition into “Phase Two” of life, emphasizing fulfillment, structure, and intentional living beyond one’s primary career. In fact, Duncan interviewed HSCC parishioners Nancy and Jim Ewing in a recent episode of The Retirement Spy, which you can watch here.
