Don't miss out on the parish's annual Ministry Fair on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th, after all the Masses in McDonough Hall. Enjoy coffee and treats after the 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and mimosas after the 11:30 a.m. Mass (sponsored by the Young Adult Ministry) while you browse the ministry displays.

The Ministry Fair is part of Holy Spirit's annual renewal of Time and Talent. Sign up online to participate in a ministry or fill out a Time and Talent Card at the Ministry Fair. For questions, please contact Kate Allen, Holy Spirit's Director of Volunteers.

2018 Archbishop's Annual Appeal

Thank you to those who have made a pledge to the 2018 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal. Archbishop Gregory reminds us that discipleship entails reflecting the great love of Jesus Christ through all of our daily actions and in how we live our lives. Your financial support of the Appeal is one way in which you live that love. Please select the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal and be sure to designate Holy Spirit as your parish. You may make your pledge online or fill out a pledge card in the pews. All payments are due by December 31, 2018.

Fasting and Abstinence During Lent

The following Abstinence / Fasting regulations are observed during Lent. They are grave obligations, binding under pain of sin. So they may not be casually ignored, and doing so is a serious sin. Abstinence from meat on all the Fridays of Lent and Good Friday (March 30) by all Catholics 15 years of age and older. Fasting on Good Friday (March 30) by all Catholics who are 18 to 59 years of age. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal and two smaller meals which, together, would not to equal a full meal. Fasting is not an obligation for those with a medical condition which would be made worse by fasting.
