Fish Fry Fridays

The Knights of Columbus popular Fish Fry dinners are returning every Friday during Lent - February 16 - March 22, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in McDonough Hall. Let the Knights take care of dinner on Fridays! Choose from fried cod fillets, grilled salmon, fried whole tilapia, and baked shrimp. Each entrée is accompanied by an array of sides - French fries, cole slaw, rice (arroz), lentils, strawberry salsa (for the salmon), and hush puppies. The Knights will also serve wine and beer, with donations to offset the costs appreciated. Each meal is $15; online pre-orders or "walk-ups" are equally welcome. Every Week During Lent



Stations of the Cross

Pray the Stations of the Cross each Friday at 5:00 p.m. (English) in St. Mary's Chapel and 7:00 p.m. (Spanish) in the Church.


Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Spend time in prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.


 

Confessions

Confessions are heard on Saturday afternoons from 4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. and Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the St. Mary's Chapel Brides' Room. Priests will be on hand to hear confessions on Good Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.


Fasting and Abstinence During Lent

The following Abstinence / Fasting regulations are observed during Lent. Abstinence from meat on Ash Wednesday (February 14), all the Fridays of Lent and Good Friday (March 29) by all Catholics 15 years of age and older. Fasting on Ash Wednesday (February 14) and Good Friday (March 29) by all Catholics who are 18 to 59 years of age. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal and two smaller meals which, together, would not to equal a full meal. Fasting is not an obligation for those with a medical condition which would be made worse by fasting.
