Safe Environment Program

Holy Spirit Catholic Church follows the Archdiocese of Atlanta Safe Environment Program created for employees and volunteers who work in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. This program is designed to provide a safe environment for children, young people, and vulnerable individuals who worship, study, or participate in activities within our community.

As part of this program, all clergy and staff, as well as volunteers whose duties involve contact with minors and vulnerable adults, are required to
  • undergo an online background check and
  • attend a required safe environment training session (VIRTUS).
For more information about the Safe Environment program at Holy Spirit, please contact the Holy Spirit Safe Environment office at secoordinator@hsccatl.com or 404-252-4513. You can also visit the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Safe Environment Website for more information on the Archdiocese’s commitment to keeping our children and vulnerable individuals safe.

On behalf of Archbishop Hartmayer, we thank you for your commitment to keep our parishes and schools safe for our children, youth, vulnerable adults and our entire community.
